77 cb750 automatic help needed asap

offered a 77 cb750 automatic for $300 cash. owner says needs carb clean, points, plugs, tuneup. sat for 1year. what problems are associated with this model? what should i look for before buying on this one? any help appreciated.

I have not really heard of any trouble with the A models. If it looks ok and you can justify the cash, get it. The A models are rather unique and ride just as well as any of the otehr 750s. They are a bit heavier and are more for cruising cause of the tranny.

mate for 300 you could part it out and make a fortune
..... just buy it, you will have a unique peice of history there....
