Harley shocks

Is it possible to fit 12.5" HD Dyna shocks on a 500 four straigth away? Will they modify seat height?

Yes, i know OEM HD shocks are crapp but my actual ones are even worst IMHO. I could get a pair of HDs very cheap. Should i?
