cool... my poppy has a '76 GL1000... man, that thing is faster than it looks, even without cafe dress! (which looks fantastic, BTW!) trying to talk him into the jardine full system as seen here:

those slash-cuts are HOT!

Damn! And here I thought I had an origanal idea for stripping down an old GL and cafe-ing it.

Sweet looking ride, man.

There's an old GL for sale by my house that I have thought of stopping to look at. The stock headlight is gone and it looks like the guy has replaced it with a set of dual hela lights. They look really out of place.  :)

Ya know I applied to be a member there but never got a response.

Seems like they are not too interested in new members.

ok will do.
I'm so pissed at my wing now.
I tried to put a used Dyna III on. I bought it used about a month ago and it isnt firing on 2 cyclinders. So now I get to send it back to Dyna to see whats wrong. I went to put my points all back on and one of the screws stripped out of the points. Looks like it is down for awhile.

                 kghost,

That's exactly why I tried to get your "Wing" in as BOTM. That's definitely one
Good Looking ride. I have thought when I saw it in the avatar and when I saw the other
pictures, they just verified my thoughts.

Wow!  I caught on late guys- that's the coolest looking Goldwing I've ever seen.  I hear they are extremely fast as well.  Looking at this bike and equating it to a woman, I'd say that it looks like one of those woman that's just slightly on the thick/uber-voluptuous side, but also extremely attractive and skilled looking!  MMmmmmm!!!  :)

So, er, yes, nice bike!!!   :)

If ya took one of those Gold Wings and removed all the bags, fairing and such, wouldn't that give the bike a boost in performance? I mean, it looks like you could drop some weight off of it and then do some motor work (Intake, cams and exhaust) and make a pretty good mover out of it while making it look unique also. To each his own but, that would be my idea. I know they are a good cruising bike and all but, I don't need a cruiser. Something along the lines of my 750, w/the sidecar, would be my idea of what I need for cruising. Course, I could get a Wing to hitch the sidecar to and then I could do modify my 80' CB750K more to my liking (It's pretty much stock for now). Later on, Bill

My friend has a 74 750 and was trying to leave me the other day. LOL I have a early 75 wing. He was impressed with the power it was putting out. My bike is naked and pulls great.

Well, half the deal is done. He wanted a Radian swing arm and a C note. All I have now is to swing him a C note. I should have it next weekend. All complete motor turns over minus the Dyna III system in it. This one will be my custom bike. I'm leaving my 75 the way it is.
