Hi,
I need an NLA throttle cable Honda pt.# 17910-GA6-670 for my little Express, the cable operates both the throttle and oil pump so I'd rather not have one custom made..O.E. any way possible.
This company cmsnl.com in Europe has them for 27 Euro dollars and I want to order just this cable.
Can any of you members tell me if it'll be possible to share an order with you and I can pay for some of the shipping ?
What would you suggest  ?
                                             Thanks in Advance,
                                                                            Bill

Hi flybox1,
I've checked lots of those online dealers, every time I put in my order w/ one,it always comes back "sorry,we are out of stock, our online inventory wasn't updated & they're NLA,we'll have to credit that back to you"...;it gets tough to hear that when it looks so promising at first.
I think I certainly need more confirmation right up front; it's a TOUGH part to find.

      thanks for that quick response,

flybox1,
I need a throttle/oil inj.pump combo OE cable pt.#17910-GA6-670 & they're as hard to find as hen's teeth.
My old one's had a patch job but won't last much longer.I think that cmsnl.com will be my best option. I've been looking for a while.  ::)

I've never ordered from overseas yet,but I can imagine they'd charge a lot to ship just 1 cable;I'd like to split the cost w/ someone else that's going to make an order from them.I'm an old guy on SS & it doesn't go too far.

Understood.  Have you searched DSS?  $16 and ships from PA.....

STEV-O,
I just looked on that link, now if that's for real(I'll try to call Sat. if possible and see if they can confirm they have it)then you've found me the proverbial 'needle in a haystack' totals to: $16 cable + $17 shipping  I can go w/ that !
I wonder what their hrs. are ? Have you ordered from them before,do they usually sell repro's or OE ?
                            Thanks

DSS does both depending on what stock they can find, but they always say in the listing.

I'm looking at the DSS site for this part and I can't view it because "no image available",but I'm not trying to be picky.
I'm going to call them this Sat. morning and confirm. and then Order the Part; it's been a long search & I look forward to finding this. The Express is a tiny bit of transportation but fun.

This has been a tough one, when the throttle cable(& oil pump feed on a 2 stroke  :o) snaps out on the road..That's IT. This cable is Not in the USA and I'd be Really sunk if I couldn't drive back home to 'try' to fix it.I'm stuck  :-[
 No More ! I just ordered it !!  ;D ;D Thanks Stev-o  ;) :)

It be worse if you weren't getting oil and didn't know it. Keep driving and they can just freeze and stop dead.

Good luck man I hope it's a fit!

Yes, I've ordered from them, bought a couple cables last month.  As Fuzzie said, they sell both OEM and aftermarket, you'll be satisfied.   And it only cost you a beer......ha!

I called them today and confirmed that it's an OE Honda cable.I had a nice little conversation w/ the man on the phone  Hey those guys are Low Stress, you know ?!  :) They said whenever possible they get O.E.(I've heard of them here and there for years but this is my 1st time as a customer)and when they can't,if the part is in high enough demand, they get some quality Repro's made. They Know How to take care of their customers !   :)  ;)  ;D
