Over here it's some sort of weird bet on a series of horse races!!!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Hey now, we Northerners are people, too!  Maybe not as genteel as you folk, but I keep up on my manners.  In fact, just the other night I held the door for a lovely, large-ish lady leaving the Mint Bar.   She was holding an ice-pack to her knuckles, muttering something about "never been so insulted..."  Curious what that was all about.
