I have a really nice front rim (inside and out) and a decent/nice rear rim (inside not so nice). I want to replace the spokes at a minimum and if I'm doing that I'd like to polish hubs and replace bearings. I would like to buy a completely done set and then trade mine back in to where they came from for a discount. Does anything like that exist?
I think there was a post a few months back, but I can't find it. I don't remember if it was in this section or For Sale or Services Offered, but it was gauging interest in powdered black 750 rims with polished hubs, stainless spokes, new bearings, etc. Someone had a few complete re-done wheel sets available.
I think my wheels might be out of true and the rear spokes are not adjustable (inside rim issue with existing spokes). I could break mine down and re-lace, but if a trade-in service existed I would have a lot less down time. If it doesn't exist, if anyone has a complete set let me know. I might pick them up and then sell mine.
