Topic: 1972 CB500 RESTORATION....MY FIRST

I am getting started on my first four cylinder restoration.   This is going be be a frame-up restoration.   I'm planning on having the frame and all the black shiny stuff powder-coated.   I'm going to un-lace the wheels and vapor blast the hubs, replace all the bearings and re-plate all the nuts and bolts.   The engine is in good shape for now.   

I'm about half-way through the disassembly of my CB500 and am now beginning to realize how hard it is to find some of the parts I need.

Being new to this, I am hoping some of the folks here can point me in the right direction or help me out.

Top Ten things I am looking for...
1.  Spokes and cadmium nipples for the rear wheel.  Cadmium nipples for the front.   Funny, I can find front wheel spokes everywhere, but the rear....
2. I need a left rear upper muffler and pipe.  Mine has a few dents and some small holes.
3. The rubber connectors for the mufflers...any source for these?
4. Headlight ears...both sides.  mine are all rusty on the back side.
5. Front blinker stalks...can't seem to find these anywhere..like the spokes
6. A new Honda seat cover.
7. A new chain guard
8. It needs a better rear grab rail...this one is pretty rusty.
9.  Headlight dome
10.  Some one to restore the gauges, or some advice on how to do it myself.

Any guidance or links will be much appreciated.

First off, welcome aboard jackhammer, seems like you are starting with a good example if you don't have any engine work to do, congrats.

As to your wish list, it is shared by many.
1 spokes - Buchanans
2 eBay or aftermarket at David Silver
3 pretty much unavailable anywhere
4 eBay, but don't really expect to find something way better, rust on the inside? Is that all?
5, 6, 7, 8, 9 eBay again
10 Lecram, Joel Levine or do a site search, many have done it including me, decals are available
