Gas squirting out float bowl breather tube QUESTION???
« on: June 16, 2014, 07:01:36 AM »
Anyone tell me why gar squirts out one of my float bowl breather tubes periodically. Every once in a while it will just piss out of one of my carbs….
Project ongoing

If you mean the tubes that connect right to the bottom of the float bowl then that will be because your float valve has stuck open (and therefore your float is probably stuck too).  If you mean those 6" tubes that come off the middle of the carb bank then I'm afraid I can't help you.

the tubes out the bottom of the float bowl are overflow tubes.  if gas comes out here, your carbs/fuel need to be cleaned of debris and your float height checked.    if you have crap in your tank, and poor filtration(in-tank or external), it will never be right.  garbage in, garbage out.   if your float valves are not sealing, and your float height is correct, and everything is spotless , you'll need to replace the float valves.
