honda cb 500 cam timing
« on: June 19, 2014, 01:29:08 AM »
what is best way to put the timing because i think its best way to put so you turn the crank on the tdc 1.4 when you have the cam on and then you put cam sprocket on cam chain and then you put sprocket on the camshaft and then you turn camshaft so the centre of the cutout notch is aligned to the cylinder head flange surface and then look how much the bolt holes on sprocket is off the camshafts bolt holes and then you take sprocket back and chanse the teeths until you think that the bolt holes are on right position on sprocket then you put the sprocket back and if camshaft is turn off its timing marks position then you turn it so the centre of the cutout notch is aligned to the cylinder head flange surface and then you look is the bolt holes on right position if they arent do it again what i was sayed or what is the best way put the timing because i think that is best way what i was sayed or can the timing put like that what i was sayed???????
sorry about bad english
