You certainly picked up a beauty of a bike for your first. As Stev-o said, those tires appear to be quite old. Check for the production date on the sidewall. From their appearance, I'd bet they are more than 5 years old. Also check for cracks in them. It would be a major shame to hit the pavement with that bike due to old tires.

I'm also interested in checking out the available modifications I could make down the road. Say, if I wanted to change the exhaust at some point, or possibly install a fairing on the front, what website should I use to order the parts?
