18mm master cyclinder
« on: July 01, 2014, 06:09:29 am »
Refurbishing the brakes on my 550k. I'll get the rebuild kit for the calliper but may just get a repro master cylinder as the rebuild kits aren't too far in cost.

I'd eventually like to add a 2nd calliper and run twin diss down the road. Can I run a larger MC than stock than the stock 14mm (like an 18) than stock with the single calliper till such time that I'm able to set up a 2nd calliper?

youll need a far greater effort to squeeze the lever to get any brake action, the brakes will feel worse as the pads wont be getting forced onto the disc as firmly running one disc.
