Just wanted to say howdy to everyone. I recently purchased a '77 CB750F for $500, mainly for commuting to work. Taking the MSF next weekend and can't wait to start riding.

Welcome. Overall, your bike seems to be in pretty good shape. Good luck with the course.

Your bike does look to be in pretty good shape.  Can you ride during the winter in Kansas City?  (I'm guessing that's where "KCMO" is.)

Welcome, you damn thief. You stole that bike for $500. Good job! Now if you could just find a seat for an F.
Don't even think about duct tape, the bike is too nice.

Thanks everyone!

Indeed it was a steal. Needed the left side engine cover remounted, engine oil and a new battery. Had it running about an hour after I brought her home. A replacement seat with no tears has been purchased off eBay already and on it's way. Now I just need to find a left side plastic cover. I have the one on the right, just not in the pictures. The stuff on the chain/tire is chain lube. The bike sat in a garage for almost a year before I purchased it. Fortunately the old owner put Stabil in the tank and took good care of it. Starts right up everytime!

If you find a left sidecover - send it to me for safe keeping as I'm sure you will somehow lose it - then I can complete my project -what colour do you want it painted by the way?? I think it would look good in black.

welcome to the forum - really nice looking bike - hope it goes as well as it looks

whenever the "F" word is mentioned here all the "K's" shudder and cower in fear of the mighty "F"....

Sorry, it's just that I try not to give into such obvious cries for attention.   It's sort of like with small children.  If you respond, it only rewards them and encourages that kind of behaviour in the future. :-* ;D ;D ;D
