Remove the switch control and you will see it underside if handlebar
Okay, now I see it. What I see are cut wires inside the hole. Somebody must have cut the wires when replacing the switch, then ran wires outside the handlebars. I don't understand why someone would do that; doesn't seem too difficult to run properly. Anyhow, thanks for your help. I'm glad I asked because it did not look right to me.
