But yeah Retro I hear ya. My wife is Canadian and she was saying that all last February, "What do they mean 'world' champions?" Of course, she and her family are all Rider's fans, talk about unsufferable!

I get it too.  My uncle (by marriage), former Seattle Seahawk Kani Kauahi, is one of the coaches for the AZ Rattlers Arena Football (World) Champions  :P  ::)

You can't win them all. This Sunday will be a tough one as well since Denver is looking for revenge. Of course how you can get even for getting spanked in the superbowl like that doesn't even compare!

It was!   We were at the wife's Uncles house watching it, he's a die hard cowgirl fan, and I as giving him shat big time!   He's a super nice guy, I started feeling sorry for him.  I also liked when the Ragles beat them earlier in the season, too bad the Eagles fell apart at the end of the season.

Being a lifelong Eagles fan you couldn't be more correct.    In the almost 70 years I've been blessed to be alive I have only seen 7(I think that is right) Philly professional championships of the 4 major teams.  The most memorable was game 6 of the 1980 World Series--I was at the park :) :) :) :)

I'm not a Cowboys fan, but the Packers winning make all the polish in-laws intolerable, so of course I thought that non catch was a ripoff. But then he could have just collected it and not tried for the touchdown.

If it weren't form the usual default of being for the team against the one I don't like. I would still be for the Seahawks  because it's the only pro team I've actually gone to their game and lived in the city for a few months, but at the time I might have been rooting for the niners.
