11…12…13… Inches it's shocking!!!
« on: October 02, 2006, 06:13:03 PM »
I tried a search but … I measured my shocks and they are 13 inches eye-to-eye. As I said in some early post I am trying to lower the bike, as I do not reach the ground very well.  So I am lowering my front forks per / ProTeal and was looking to get shorter rear shocks.  But am wondering if I would be bottoming out with 11” and should go with 12” to avoid tire rub?

Thanks,
Buck

Buck  ,
I have the 11'' shocks on my scoot, weight in at a beefy 200lbs, and BARELY ever bottom the rear tire out.
I mean you can see wear on the stock inner fender their has been contact, but not anything to worry about.
I think you will be ok....

I tried loudfastugly (cool site) but no go.  I like the idea of just doing the canister (dark light combo) so I order up some and give it a try!
