'75 CB550 engine rebuild leftovers....
« on: September 30, 2014, 06:01:19 PM »
Oh help.  I am left with a roller bearing.  I double and triple checked everything.  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where it goes.  I am worried it is my main shaft bearing but I feel like I double checked it a million times.

Engine is together.... so any help would be appreciated.

Possibly the primary shaft or a transmission shaft. Did you do a bottom end rebuild?
Might be either #74 or #76 in the link below

That goes on to the Starter clutch area. I saw that once I removed mine. Not sure what the part is called but it goes onto the rod that the starter clutch is attached to.
