That was chain number (?) that served its last. The fellow I got the bike from had the engine out to rebuild the top end. She had 45,000 pretty hard miles on her, so it definitely wasn't the original chain, by a long shot. It wasn't junk so I kept it. He had it wrapped in an oily rag and it stayed pretty well intact. The sprockets were both also just replaced and those I also kept. But yes - it died and is awating replacement. And since the weather changed a bit, and I'm trying to get the K5/K3 and K2/K1 frames painted, the funds that should be going to a new chain or going into paint.
