Thats great thank Peter & Dave.
Next question is,I bought a second motor as original chewed out cam bearing, big end etc etc.So found a new motor but really didnt want to do a full rebuild on it.Big end, mains seem to be fine as in a low mileage motor.Came with head off the motor.

Had to have head rebuilt & is done, just wanted to know how good are the bottom end seals like etc?Should I at least put rings in it/hone? Or just button it up & put back into frame?
As I mentioned the owner isnt very good health wise,so I need to get moving on this bike.
Any help appreciated....
One more thing where do you guys send to for chrome work?Heard a company in ACT was very good?

the crank seals on these aren't prone to leaking,if you had the cases split you would replace them as a matter of course, dont split them just for those seals if they aint leaking, just close it up and run it.

Thanks for the info guys,Silvers came through with a big box of new parts for this build,Keith there was particularly helpful in finding some bits for me.Can now move ahead with this build.

Now just need to find a new exhaust system, anyone point me in right direction?Dont need to be chromed etc, aftermarket style is fine. Was thinking one of the ebag ones?

Gday mate
I have dealt with Col when he was at Rydalmere a few years ago now. I bought a bike from him and had it rebuilt, except for the paint.

From my experience I would put him at the very top of the list of who to trust to do a good/great job at a fair price.

Give me a call if you like 0413 045 444

I probably only see him once a year or so now, but would call him a mate for sure.

Scott
