1976 400/4 Restoration - much advice needed!
« on: December 02, 2014, 06:24:17 am »
Hi - I'm about to undertake the restoration of my 1976 Honda 400/4. I'm looking for recommendations of paint/powdercoat services, re-chroming etc - ideally in the Brighton/south east area. I'm also looking for advice on many issues - for example what shade of silver is correct for painting the engine, which bolts should be replaced with ones with shiny/black heads etc. What would be really useful would be an owner of a good 400/4 near to Brighton, who would be willing to let me have a look over their bike... Many thanks in advance!

I'll pony up first.  ;D. This is mine and just one of many examples around here. "Search" is the key to many of your upcoming problems.
