Bike got a ride home this morning

 :'(
Sniff

Ran over something in the dark, whatever it was it was big and sharp.  Rear tire deflated almost instantly and whatever punctured it went flying off into the distance.

Pulled off, and there was about a 1/4" hole in the rear tire - clean hole too.  Must have ran over a bolt or something.
Went to repair the flat - whoops, forgot to pack the repair kit >:(
Called for the tow, waited for ever and a day
Got back home, took all of 4 minutes to repair the hole only to discover... whoops don't have the adapter for the CO2 cartidges >:(

So now I have to chase that stuff down, toss the repair kit on the bike this time, and go buy a new tire to replace the 3 month old tire. >:(

Merry Christmas.  :'(

That sucks!  But at least you did not wipe out, or did you?

Naw, no drama, no excitement.  I was riding on a nice gentle turn with a really wide shoulder.  I don't even think I broke the bead, so now that I think about it, I might be able to inflate the tire with my air compressor.  I've been without an air compressor for so long I forget that I have one now.

Still need to get the adaptor for the CO2 cartridges.

Glad you're OK, and that it was somewhat dry yesterday...
