I don't have my instructions; however, I installed mine earlier this summer. The coils themselves do not have polarity, so you can connect each either way.  Each coil needs an ignition on power source and a wire that runs to the distributer.

On my bike ('77 CB750K) the ignition power supply is the black/white wire.  Each coil gets its own connection to the the black/white wire.

The blue wire gets connected to the coil that fires the 1/4 cylinders and the yellow wire goes to the coil that fires the 2/3 cylinders.

ok,  one more question....the wires that came with it (also dyna) have small metal parts that over the end (after you trim it) and plug into the coil. since i have no instructions....how do i do this part? there is also a small crimping tool that looks like you put the metal ends in and squeeze it all together. but do i need to strip the wires down to the core to do this? do i only take off the black part and crimp it to the white? do i strip a small peice to the bare wire and somehow attach that to the metal end part, then crimp the wire to it? i know many of you have done this...i bought these coils almost a year ago and somehow lost the directions...i dont want to eff anything up..thanks!

yes what? i am just not sure which part to strip to make contact.there is a small hole in the metal ends. do i run a peice of the bare lead through that and then crimp it to the outer casing?

Strip about 3/8" of the wire casing from the tip to expose the inner core(bare lead). Fold the bare lead down so it gets pinched between the outer wire casing and the metal crimp piece. Just like your thinking it should go except I've never seen the hole your talking about. Could be that there's a use for the hole but maybe it's just a hole.

Ack, just read my writing before posting and it barely makes sense to me :P Hope you get the gist Andrew :)

Must be different now. My Dyna wire set came as 2 fairly long wires with the coil terminals and boots already on - so there were 2 wires, each with a coil terminal on both ends. I just had to cut each one into two pieces (I think each one cut into one long piece and one shorter to have long enough sections for the #1 and #4 wires) and attach the plug caps.

I fold the inner core under that small hole in the metal wire end then fill the hole with solder. It probably isn't necessary but ties the two together and makes me feel better !!

Sorry should have read more closely. I usually buy 8mm wire and attach the terminal ends. I haven't used the Dyna wires.

Wow Brent, that is some serious attention to detail. I am now resisting the temptation to buy a soldering gun and pull my plug leads. ;D

Ah shucks Sean. If you pull your plug wires, you may do just that, the wires will come and the terminal may stay in the coil tower. No big deal but that's why I solder them.

I put so much silicon spray on one of my leads, in order to slide the rubber plug boot on, that when I go to change plugs I do just that :P
