Patches are for getting you home and not for riding
« on: October 08, 2006, 06:54:22 PM »
After a good long run today I got to see this first hand. And yes it was on my bike. After several hundred miles of riding the rear tire went stone flat after we stopped and parked for a rest.  >:( >:( >:( I had a few patches on this tube. I can tell you.... PATCHES ARE NOT FOR RIDING. I feel stupid as this was totally avoidable with a $8 tube.  ::)
