I think i've seen the porsche on top gear UK, was wicked fast. The Ferrari is drop dead gorgeous, in-credible. Id settle for what the steering wheel costs.

That makes the BMW z-8 seem like a bargain 10 years ago. It had appreciated to just over 100k on the Seattle Showroom.

It had plates that said county sheriff.  WTF?


Does this  thing look more stealth than any of the above pics? It's different.

This past weekend I stopped in to say hello to a friend I worked with. He is also retired. Has seven cars (Porsche, prowler, 57 Ford wagon, Caddy and more) boat, three HD bikes etc.

I heard he bought a new Corvette. Yup, sure enough. I sat in it and said Lordy,Lordy.  :D

Boy, it is sweet!  8) He loves Purple thus the hood stripe. It looks good on the Silver.

For me I think a Ford Cobra and a beaten up Toyota Corolla  Toyota to get around in the winter and the Cobra to scare the tourists

This whole thread is about to give me wood. MAN.

I've always really wanted a DeLorean. I know they're not particularly fast or anything but I love the style. I've always really liked the 80's "supercars" for their straight lines and square front ends. That and I love hatchbacks.

I miss my 65 Corvair.

I don't get the fascination with Deloreans. It's put together from a bunch of parts that are pretty crap. It hasn't any style. My washing machine is more powerful than it AND I've also been to the factory when they were being made.

I know. I know. I happen to love the styling, but I'm a sick man. I also love Edsels and Corvairs and pretty much anything weird no one else likes.

The thing is though...you could adapt anything to fit anything these days. Get a complete DeLorean shell, put in a modern motor, modern gauges, a better steering and suspension system...Then you;d have a modern driving car with awesome styling.

There is something to say for stainless steel on a car. Too bad the 2002 wasn't made with stainless.
