I got a 5.5KW Troy-Built portable.  I can use it when dry-camping, but all my neighbors have agreed that from now on, every Columbus Day, we're all killing power, firing up all our gensets and having a big 'ol block party.

I had 2 feet of the heavy, wet version of the #$%* dump overnight last week.  Broke almost every tree in Western New York, snapped a zillion power poles, crushed my gazebo and every awning in the neighborhood.   I just got power back last night, my fridge was the snow bank on my deck.  On the plus side, the beer was nice & cold though.

We had a piddling little 2" dump last night, and it is quite mild this am. Went down to -10c yesterday, though.
