71 CB500 Four Racing Carb question
« on: March 04, 2015, 06:23:48 pm »
Hello all,

I have 71 CB500 and i wanted to know which type of carbs to run on her? I wanted to use Keihin racing carbs, now my question at hand is which carb would you recommend CR26 or the CR29 set up? The engine is stock except for a stage 1 camshaft from WebCam Inc. Grind# 358a. Also i am running a Carpys full exhaust system. Please can you guys let me know if this is a good way to go, i am open to other ideas. Thanks everyone for the help

I would vote for getting the head worked before parting out the cash for carbs.

i saw raicng in the title, but not sure you are actually going racing now.... if for street use, the VM26 are a much better option, i actually raced with them for a while. CR26 if you have money to burn for the bling :)
