I LOVE the Corse body kit.     I might buy one for my 796 while I can still get them.

Yup. Just got a email. Bike sold.

Had 1600 miles, asking 10k. Pretty reasonable for an abs evo Ducati.

There is one on CL around here with 2,200 miles for only $8,500!

If I hadn't bought my 796 new, I'd be real tempted to get the 1100 Evo, and sell my 796.

In reality, the 796 has plenty of power, but, more is better, right?   ;D

Yes, the 796 is a wonderful ride. Seems like a fair price with low miles on the EVO. Link?

I was just looking on the Ducati site and see they brought back the SR model. I would like to see the Scrambler in person. I'll be in Phoenix first part of May. Maybe I can locate a few.

Unless something really trips my trigger I'll stick to one bike. It's all I need really and I'm still in love with it.

You still have the S2R, no?    What a great bike!    I like the look of them better than my 796 (and the 1100 Evo).

The $8,500 Evo:

Yes, I still have the S2R 800. Still in love with it too.  ;) Had a eye Doctor look at it yesterday but only stupid money will buy it. Might be bike less next week for the River Run coming up.  ;D

Sold the Brutale. Wonderful bike also but the whole deal left a bad taste. At least it is right now. Only took six (6) months.  ::)

Was working a straight trade on his 05 F4 but we could not get close enough. Probably best, I'm pretty burnt out working on motorcycles.

Seems the S series of Monster's are getting more attention as of late. At least according to the forums I'm on.

The S2R's swing arm is a piece of art work!    It looks just like the one on the Sport (Classic) 1000.

Oh, nuts!   (or, for you Aussies on the forum, "Bugger!").

The $800 or so list price is a little above my pain threshold, which is why I've not ordered it yet, but, $475, I'd have jumped on that!

Sad thing is that I paid $500 for the "silk white" bodywork on the bike, because I didn't want to be yet another all-red Monster on the road.    I didn't know about the Corse bodywork.  My dealer didn't tell me about that option, I was just looking at what colors were available on the bikes.    So, I've already got a brand new red bodywork set on the shelf, and will add to that the white one if I get the Corse.
