Hey,
were are all the Canadians? I am in Toronto and I think that it was snowing today, but my bike insurance just went up 50% so I have to go for a ride to make it worthwhile!!!

Cheers,

Hello all, I'm from Port Coquitlam, BC and am in the process of doing a full restoration of a 1973 CB750. I also have a nice 1972 CB500 that is my daily rider. See all you fellow British Columbians at the Tswassen show later this month!

Regards, Ian.

Hey David
I am in the high Park/Roncensvalles area.  I didn't notice a 50%jump in insurance, I'm scared though I've just got my '76 750K on the road and was looking forward to a pain-free riding season.

Regarding insurance, they explained to me that the increase was due to the fact that I was not "continously insured" last year.. I was too busy trying to figure out where all the left over parts went after rebuilding the engine !!!

I think we should start a GTA thread :), and an insurance thread!  I just switched over to JR Duffy insurance.  I'm paying $465 for my CB550F.  I'm an M2, relatively new.  No accidents / 1 ticket.

I got a quote from Dalton-Timmins for 465 as well... there is a GTA board gtamotorcycle.com .. but not just for us SOHC4 owners.

I agree on starting a GTA thread. I'm a new owner of a  78 750 f2 and ride daily but plan hourly. Maybe a meet of 750's would be cool. This site is amazing but sometimes seing others, riding with others, LISTENING to other bikes can be very helpful. I'm in Whitby and have never ventured off to the city for a nice cruise (partially cause I wouldn't know where to go as I am fairely new to the area). Every day I listen to the music my bike makes and I never know if its bang on or slighlty off. Either way..........................I ride.

I live in Scarborough, but sometimes go for a ride in the Durham region.  We can prolly set up a ride in your area.
