Things to do/People to meet in Los Angeles
« on: October 18, 2006, 02:08:10 AM »
I'm most likely moving from rainy Portland, Oregon to Sunny Los Angeles in January.  I was wondering if there are particular shops/dealers down there that take care of us folks who take care of these old bikes.  Up here there is, for example, St. John's Honda that still stocks some old parts (air/oil filters, etc), Western Cycle Salvage for used stuff, and Vicious Cycle if you give up and need to take it to a repair shop.

DO NOT go to Hollywood Honda.   Just dont.

The only shop to go to in LA for these old bikes is Marcelos out in the valley.   I dont have the address on me, but here is the number: 818 343 0142

you are going to get Marcelo or Edgar and they are both really good on old Hondas.  They take care of my bikes really well.

we'll have to make a Rock Store run one of these days.  its a GREAT greasy spoon breakfast spot to check out bikes and get Bfast.

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
