wrong head?
« on: June 09, 2015, 11:30:01 AM »
Hey guys, can I use the head with all the stock parts from a 72 750K on a 78 750F3 with a one over bore. Pistons are from Cycle x. If it will not work correctly, I need to find a head for a F model bike.

Heads and barrel together from 72 will work, the early head has different oil return passages that don't line up with the F heads...

I woke up the other morning in Hawaii after way too many mai tais and it felt like I had the wrong head. A very damaged one at that.

Just curious why all the tech questions in the Open Forum lately. Seems they would get answered faster in the Tech section.
