74 cb550 carb question

what is the piece/part that goes above the main jet, right near the needle?? mine seems to be missing and i need to find somewhere to buy it but i dont even know what its called. Do I need it?

and where do you guys buy your main and pilot jets for this year?? But I do not want to pay 10 dollars a piece from honda everybody seems to go back to 1976 at the bike stores out here in southern california

If it fits a '76 it will fit a '74. But go with what Fly sez. jetsrus has everything for cheap.
