Wow ... and I thought the air box on my Ski-Doo MXZ800 was a bear to remove/reinstall. Any secrets, tricks or tips you guys could share to make the air plenum removal/installation easier on this 550. The manual says loosen the clamps, remove the two bolts to the air box and "wriggle" it free. Well, I had to remove the air box and the battery box to even have a shot at reinstalling it. Even then I wrassled with the thing and I hope I didn't crack the boots. When I pulled it out, I shoved the boots back into the plenum - but wasn't sure I could get them back in right (once on the bike) for the install. Anyway, I got the bike all back together and she fired right up. Ripped up and down my township road a little - got a slight stumble coming off the pilot and onto the needle, but when she hits the mains - hang on! What a blast! Next up is to synchronize the carbs and just ride.
