Only 4 amps according to the specs. That's about what a television uses. This ultrasonic cleaner doesn't have a tank, so you'll have to come up with something to mount the transducer to. I have a small benchtop ultrasonic machine at home that I picked up from work since they weren't using it any more. It works OK for some things, but can be totally useless on others. It depends on the solution you dip things in. I tried using it to clean carbs, and wasn't satisfied with the results. You can't use flammable solutions in this thing, so the available effective cleaners were out. From my experience, water based solutions just don't work on carbs. I cleaned the whole wire loom with the ultrasonic, and some bearings, and that worked well.
