Been working on restoring an CB550K 78'. Have taken it from not starting, to road worthy, and it running great. I have some winter projects, but I just wanted to get it on the road before the snow starts in New England.
According the manual the fuel tank should hold 4.2 Gallons of gas. Which it does. But I seem to need to fill up the gas tank every 2.6 Gallons. According to the manual I should have 3.2 Gallons before I need to go to reserve.
Is this a petcock issue? Too Tall? or am I missing something else?
