In the season's last race in Misano, Marco Leardini (center) continued to rule the 750 class and won the 2015 title on his 650/750 hybrid.
Cesare, Zaizer from the forum (on the left) got an impressive 3rd place both in the race and in the 2015 championship, in his only second season of racing ever! Guy's got talent!
and myself? After five seasons of trying on my powerful but overweight GPZ750/810, I finally managed to bring home a medal with it, getting the vice-champion title in the Open class. Time to pension the old lady and go for something lighter, (like 100 pounds lighter!) which I just finished building.
Yes, I know it's a sohc forum, but cant say enough about kawasaki heavy industrie's "built like an oil tanker" reliability. In 5 seasons / 30 racing weekends and often hitting 12,000 rpm, never had to open the motor for anything, and it's still like 170 on all cylinders, negligible oil consumption. That's how I am going to remember her
