I want to put fresh plating on my oem Honda bolts

Who can I send my oem bolts out to and have them re-plated w/ zinc? if that's right.

Wire wheel them all and remove any scale, rust, crud. Put them in a medium Priority Mail box to me ( bag them, pad it, and tape it well) and I will trot them to my plater. Put as much as you can fit in the box. For the princely sum of $180 I will return them to you (shipping included) replated, gorgeous. Note, this will not replace missing metal, it will just make it shinier.

Sounds good N.  8)
Will your plater do any on a smaller scale? I still run the bike and not yet ready to break it down.
I want to see if I can get 36 spokes done for now;I'll clean'em all up first.
I know,I've been told not to re-use spokes but these are still excellent and good oem,I only want the spokes done, the spoke 'nipples' are still shiny.
Again thanks for the response.

No, he charges me a batch price to run about as much as fits in the aforementioned box, or less. So fill that sucker for a good value.

you can make a galvanisering of the spokes.
.its simpler then plating..but not a alternative for plating.but for spokes it fine
.drill a lot of 2,5 mm holes cut 3 mm threds and screv the spokes in the plate..and make a bath..and vire it up..by 1-12 volt..kemikals and doses thek on the net...my English is to bad for kemical expl...

ok N.,it'll be a while for that because I ride this little sucker whenever weather permits;but if it's everything that I can fit into a USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate box? then I'll start looking my stuff for many more(pedals, etc.) parts to do  :)
is it similar to oem? do you have an example of a 'before and after' part I could see ?

Kyle,
This is just a little tinker toy CB125 & I'm building a CB175 front drum wheel for it that'll stop me better.
I want to do parts for another bike for later too;the orig. oem zinc plating can only take just 'so much' outside dew, elements, etc. before it's had it.

I can understand what you're saying a bit and yes,I will need more details and then someday in the future I can attempt the process.

My plater charges by the rack so a small amount just is not cost effective.  You could do it yourself though.

I'd like to do it myself after a bit of education.I live in an efficiency apt. w/ wall-wall carpet and have a storage w/o any electricity as a type of 'shop' for now.. I would like to send these 36 spokes to one of you members if you'd consider doing them for me for pay.I just want to protect them from rusting and don't care how shiny they come out.

Happy Thanksgiving  ;)

As long as you're not in a hurry you can send them to me and I will put them in with my next batch, within a month I'd say, for the price of postage. Send them to my shop please, address can be found on my website (www.restocycle.com).

Cheers!
