New From Melbourne Australia!
« on: January 06, 2016, 03:52:37 PM »
Hello friends, My name is Pete. I'm a 26 yr old American expat, New York boy who has up and left and moved to Melbourne. Always loved motorcycles, started by buying the cheapest cb's and suzuki gs's I could get my hands on in high school and college, made them work, and sell them for a new one. Now that I'm keeping them, I actually love Honda CB's.

Now that I've just moved to Melbourne, I've recently sold a 81 CB250N to pick up a 1975 CB400F, that I'm currently restoring/ collecting parts for.

While waiting for all those parts to come in for the CB400F, I couldn't help but to buy this 75 CB750F, and just waiting for the new forks to come in the mail to replace the bent ones!

I still have lots to learn, but very excited for the journey.

Welcome,

The 750 tank looks pretty good when thinking about the dump that bent the forks.

That is one of the cleanest "F's" I've seen in a while.
Very nice...

Welcome to the madness!  ;)
How the heck did you get to AUS? I tried years ago, and they wouldn't let 'us' in back then. I could work there for a while if I wanted, but couldn't move there permanently.

Having an Aussie girlfriend helped, I'm not a permanent resident yet, but they also haven't kicked me out yet.
