So whats the deal with the stock chrome tailpipe having all the holes? For water, or tells you when the muffler is full/plugged?
The one in on the front end of the tailpipe has like a skirt or jacket hanging down just a bit. I've never noticed how much exhaust is leaking right there, so I went ahead and welded (the old crack) in pin hole that I must have missed, and then still the water drain hole was just as loud as the first test, so I screwed it shut.
Hey, I just got an idea to invent a space saving parking ramp so the end hole will drain. 30 degrees should do it. 45 degrees would solve the bad gas tank gasket leaking with a full tank parked on the side stand. 2 settings, full of water or full of gas. I could probably run a jack shaft and a second chain off the garage door opener, so that when it's lowering the door, the ramp will be doing its thing. You guys remember the winnabego front fender bike mount? That'd be perfect, nothing gawdy.
