Reflector for H4 bulb and parking light T4W

I have a reflector today that has no metal stuff over the bulb that will shape the light pattern. I use a bright LED H4 that need to get improved light pattern to pass the vehicle validation

I don't think I understand your question, but I have a 7" Hella reflector:
http://www.myhellalights.com/index.php/products/auxiliary-lamps/sealed-beam-conversion-headlamps/vision-plus-7in-conversion-headlamp/

There are two model numbers:
7" Round Conversion Headlamp, High/Low Beam (SAE/DOT)   002395301
7" Round Conversion Headlamp, High/Low Beam (ECE)   002395991

I have the ECE version. Hella told me that it has better light dispersion than the DOT version. Both versions are universal left or right and OK for motorcycles.

That conversion reflector seems to be made for US market to replace the old sealed ones Honda shipped with the bikes, right?
Comparison vs the old bad sealed unit, not other H4 reflectors. I think Hella is one of the better together with Bosch.
My bike had H4 from the beginning, no conversion needed. I have bought standard European H4 7" reflector before. I have with parking light.

I hope I'll get an explanation what " Manufacturer Restriction: Ref. 12,5" means.

My friend is a Hella distributor. It means they only sell them individually in a box marked "for off road use only". They do not meet DOT requirements for road use. They are too bright. That does not mean they are bad, they are actually too good for bureaucrats.

Thanks BobbyR!
I migh have ordered that one! I ordered without the restriction. I understand now since JEEP Wrangler use this type of reflectors and one way to find them. I had an Volvo 142 1969 for many years ago with 7" reflectors sold everywhere when many cars had them.

It will be bright anyway with LED H4 that give me respect in the traffic.

I do not drive a night very often since we have a really bad Deer problem here. I have my headlight aimed very high. I cannot see how I would blind anyone during daylight hours. I do want them to see me. or rather I want them to see the light.  Ride safe PeWe

Summertime here not dark at all late evenings. Bright headlight to be seen by others. The vehicle inspection wil complain on the light pattern with the LED  bulb.
The new reflextor will hopefully make the pattern OK without change bulb to std H4 during inspection.

We have some animals here too. The population of wild boars increase and are running around when dark. Many years ago we had a lot of moose too. Small deers are common here too, they usually eat our tulips in the garden when they have just popped up.
Hares are the next on that can jump in the wheel.
I have to keep my eyes open when I have repaired the bike back to the old days, maybe even better than ever before.

I can understand that. The problem is that these leds are not in the focal point (the precisely positioned filament of an H4 bulb is) and so never produces the beam that you need at night. Led for daylight attention is fine, but that's about it.
