Crank and rod bearings, CB750 K2
« on: March 12, 2016, 08:05:35 PM »
Looking for a place to buy complete bearing sets for my 1972 CB750.  I need green and yellow bearings for both the crank and the rods.  Where can I get the best deal?

Get them from Honda. These are too important to try to pick up "maybe knockoffs" parts: we've seen how some of those can turn out, lately. :(

Why do you need new ones? Are the old ones torn up, or water-marked?

They are a bit worn.  I'd rather replace them. My local dealer in Honolulu told me they don't have them and don't deal with older bikes from the 70s.

Well, you can order them from the online dealers, like South Sound Honda (WA state) or Hondaparts-direct (TX). That's where I get them.

Yamiya750.com has great pricing and you'll probably get them quicker from Japan than in the US.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

That's probably true! It takes 10 days or more from South Sound... :(
