Howdy from Texas
« on: April 13, 2016, 06:47:26 AM »
Hey all, new member here from Houston, Texas. I have recently acquired a complete '72 CB350f and am hoping to learn how to get it running. I've been riding for a few years now but this would be my first project bike. I hope it won't be too cumbersome as I'm comfortable with doing my own automotive maintenance work. I've seen lots of helpful threads already so I look forward to learning more!

Hello.  I'm up in Ft Worth.  We have a good group of guys down Houston Way.  On Facebook, try looking up Blip Workshop.  The owners there are members here.

Funny you mention Blip which is where this bike came from. I live quite a ways from the workshop though so I don't get to hang with Chris and gang much. I'll definitely be back to get help fine tuning but for now I feel like I have a lot of self learning to do!

He's one of the best.  Helped me out on several occasions.
Zammy, at least you know a place to go to for advice, aside from here.  It's nice to have people around to bounce ideas off of by phone or in person.
The board is fantastic and I would not have been able to do anything on my bike without it, but I still like to call people to run through issues.

Perhaps we will see you at Harvest this fall.

Late to the party.  Greetings from somewhere north of Pearland and south of Houston.  Still learning my way around these Hondas, but having a good time.

Was up that way last month.  My dad lives in Lantana, near Argyle.
