Shift drum stopper - spring position
« on: June 09, 2016, 07:49:14 PM »
Does anyone know the factory position of the static or anchored end of the spring for the large shift drum stopper arm.
I've noticed on countless pictures of this stack that people have it either way. The red line is over the spring-end I'm talking about, red also being position 1, blue position 2.
Blue position puts more torque on the spring, would that cause hard shifting/hard to find neutral, or does the position not make much of a difference?

It does! Thanks. I thought that was the correct position.

I kept seeing pictures like this and it made me curious  :P
