Internal bearing - where do you buy them?
« on: June 19, 2016, 01:28:33 PM »
Hi good people!

My CB 400 engine is completely taken apart. I would like to replace all of the bearing with new ones, now that it is all taken apart anyway

It is very expensive though! It is specially crank bearings, big end bearings and stretch bolts that i find very expensive. Am I looking in the wrong places? (www.cmsnl.com, www.davidsilverspares.co.uk)

Might try yamiya750.com. Not sure of your exchange rate though.

If they are standard sized bearings you can get them at any bearing supply business.
Bikebandit claims to have some of them.
Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:

i mostly got tax problems from usa..have not got any from asia send parts..but that can be luck/unluck..
cms is great kvality--but costy..silver is sleighty less kvality.on some aftermarked parts....but preises generall is far better...
most ball bearings is standart..but some have grindet grooves to Lock them in the engine casting..needel bearings and finaly bearing need to be pressed aut of the shaft..Honda do not give info on them.(.bay it as a vhole part. incl shaft.they say.)..but you can press it aut abd read the codes..to bay new

often you dont need to thange all plain bearings and cylender bolts
(i have some used spares)if you need
