74 cb750 transmission compatibility in a K6?
« on: June 27, 2016, 07:41:38 AM »
To follow up on my transmission woes, i have a lead on a complete transmission from a 74 CB750. I know that the 77+ are apparently different, but is the tranny from a 74 comparable with my 76 CB750 K6? Appreciate some expert opinion. thanks

You need the whole thing transmission main shaft and countershaft gears.  I put a 76f transmission in a 74 no problems, but took main shaft and countershft.  I may have taken the drum and forks too.

Yea, planning on a full replace, not just affected parts, so that should work ok?
