I have to agree, imho, it's a solution looking for a problem.
However, considering how many people neglect their chains perhaps a tool to help/remind them isn't a bad thing.

 I always check my chain while sitting on the bike, never really thought I needed a special tool though.  How much are they getting for this Monkey device ?   Hmmm I need to think up some cute little gadget !!

I get it, but still a little bit of a solution looking for a problem. At $28 it's not that unreasonable but I'll keep doing what I've been doing for decades.

Both links the same no video.
Once a chain has been run a while it usually. Wears unevenly.. So to adjust, you must find the tightest part. How does the tool address that.?
 Tool is fairly cheap though.
