My wife and I and our two dalmatians were driving along the Motorway on our way to a holiday. My wife turned to me and said "I think Gladstone (the male dalmatian) is going to be car sick. I asked why and she said "he keeps dipping his head as though he is trying to vomit". I pulled off the motorway at the next exit and got him out of the car for a stroll round. Everything seemed to be OK so after a short rest, we climbed back in and continued our journey. Soon my wife said "he's doing it again" so I watched carefully and sure enough he dipped his head every so often. Suddenly it dawned on us that in fact he was seeing the overhead bridges and as we approached he was ducking to go underneath them. Sadly, Gladdy is no longer with us but we still think he was one of the brightest dogs we have ever owned.
