Does anyone know if the side cover to 1975 cb750f supersport is interchangeable with the side cover of a 1977 supersport?

No, they're different.

From what I understand one side is (which?) but the other isn't.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Honda's planned obsolescence has split them into the 1975/1976 and then the 1977/1978 camps. The mounting pins are in different locations. And it seemed when I was looking for the later ones for my '78, at that time they were commanding more coins than the prior versions. But that was a few years ago, so may be no longer valid. Much like the left hand electrics side case for the K1-K6s to get one in great shape commands a premium. Of course with my luck I am always looking when the market is hottest for whatever it is I need. ;D
