Are they identical? Similar?

Hi guys! I'm wondering if anyone knows if the 1980 cb650 and the 1981 cb650 frames are the same? Can't find any info on it. Thanks.

The customs are different round the seat area than the standard, might be a couple of tabs that change. will defer to CB650 if he has any insight. what are you looking at and for.

I'm trying to figure out if I can put a flat brat style seat on my 81 cb650. I see a few 80 cb650's with flat brat seats. So was wondering if 80 frames are same as mine. But yeah, the 80 ones I've seen might be custom...

79 cb650 was the only year to have the std frame while later sohc650 s were custom frame.
