Degreeing a "Hot" Cam
« on: December 31, 2016, 12:04:17 PM »
Hello All,

Hopefully I drop this in the right area. Was looking for some guidance on degreeing my cam. I am asking here because not much is original in the engine. I am putting a C5 ignition (on order) on the bike so no points. Have a Yoshi B grind cam and an adjustable cam gear. It has been bored out to a 592 running DP592/61s pistons and has a lightened and balance crank.

My question is should I put the stock advancer on and follow the manuals instructions for valve timing or is there a better approach because of the part mods?
