The Yamaha speedo in upper left - what model/ year is it from? I want to use it on my build.

Wouldn't you have to determine if the ratios were correct?

I don't know what its from but like Bob says....you would want to make sure its the right ratio. If you like to go for the ton,you will be maxing this one out.

You would only have to worry about the ratios if there was only one cable. I doubt there is only one cable. You would have to have a gear sensor as well as a speed sensor... I bet there are two separate gauges in one housing.

Looks like a 1967 YR1 speedo/tach to me. I had a friend who used on on his rd350 and said it read accuratly (he checked the tach with a dwell meeter). Speedos tend to be pretty standard but the tach is probably no good for your bike since it came off a two stroke bike.

Why not use the 60's cb77, cb450 headlight speedo (at least with them you can use the guts of a minigauge to get the tach to read somewhat accurately). same effect just an oval instead of round.

Anything from a Bomber is gonna be tough to get without losing a lot of coin (insert: "Sandcast").  But, there's several Honda's with the integrated headligt/gauge thing, like the '69 CA175.  I bet it's a lot cheaper the the Bomber unit.
