Placement of decals.
« on: May 12, 2017, 11:00:02 AM »
In looking at various photos of early  ( K0, K1) Cb 750's I'm noticing that the tank decals (black and gold stripes) seem to appear in slightly different locations on the tanks. I'm told that the K1 was the most produced model. Were the decals placed by hand sometime during the assembly process? This would account for slight differences. I note on my K1 that some of the welds look like snot with splatter readily visible. This is clearly hand work.

Well known fact that the early 750's had sloppy welds, they did get much better later on.

Good question about the stripes...
